MediaElement.ScrubbingEnabled Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the MediaElement will update frames for seek operations while paused. This is a dependency property.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if frames are updated while paused; otherwise, false. The default is false.

When set to false, seeking to a specific location will only update the displayed frame if media is playing.

Setting ScrubbingEnabled to true can incur some performance costs, especially when interactively controlling media playback.
