DataGridColumn.CanUserSort Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the user can sort the column by clicking the column header.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Controls
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)
XMLNS for XAML: http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation, http://schemas.microsoft.com/netfx/2007/xaml/presentation

public bool CanUserSort { get; set; }
<object CanUserSort="bool" .../>

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the user can sort the column; otherwise, false. The registered default is true. For information about what can influence the value, see DependencyProperty.

You can set this sorting behavior for all columns by setting the DataGrid.CanUserSortColumns property. If the DataGridColumn.CanUserSort property and the DataGrid.CanUserSortColumns property are both set, a value of false takes precedence over a value of true.
