MetaTable.CanInsert Method

Gets a value that indicates whether the specified user is allowed to perform insert operations.

Parameters

principal
Type: System.Security.Principal.IPrincipal

The user's security context.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the user is allowed to perform insert operations; otherwise, false.

A principal object represents the security context of the user on whose behalf the code is running, including that user's identity and any roles to which they belong.
