_Type.IsPrimitive Property

Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the Type.IsPrimitive property.

This property is not CLS-compliant.

Property Value

true if the Type is one of the primitive types; otherwise, false.

This property is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code, and should not be called from managed code.

The Type.IsPrimitive property gets a value indicating whether the Type is one of the primitive types.
