Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the Assembly.CodeBase property.

Property Value

Type: System.String
The location of the assembly as specified originally.

This method is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code, and should not be called from managed code.

The Assembly.CodeBase property gets the location of the assembly as specified originally, for example, in an AssemblyName object.
