WebSocketState Enumeration

.NET Framework 4.5

Defines the different states a WebSockets instance can be in.

Member nameDescription
NoneReserved for future use.
ConnectingThe connection is negotiating the handshake with the remote endpoint.
OpenThe initial state after the HTTP handshake has been completed.
CloseSentA close message was sent to the remote endpoint.
CloseReceivedA close message was received from the remote endpoint.
ClosedIndicates the WebSocket close handshake completed gracefully.
AbortedReserved for future use.

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
