ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol Property

Gets or sets the security protocol used by the ServicePoint objects managed by the ServicePointManager object.

Type: System.Net.SecurityProtocolType
One of the values defined in the SecurityProtocolType enumeration.
ExceptionCondition
NotSupportedException

The value specified to set the property is not a valid SecurityProtocolType enumeration value.

This property selects a secure sockets layer (SSL) protocol for new connections that use the Secure Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTPS) scheme only; existing connections are not changed.
