IcmpV4Statistics.RedirectsSent Property

Gets the number of Internet Control Message Protocol version 4 (ICMPv4) Redirect messages that were sent.

Property Value

Type: System.Int64
An Int64 value that specifies the total number of ICMP Redirect messages that were sent.

Redirect messages are sent by routers to inform a host computer of a better route for a destination address.

The following example displays the value of this property.
