SortVersion.Inequality Operator

Indicates whether two SortVersion instances are not equal.

	SortVersion left,
	SortVersion right
)

Parameters

left
Type: System.Globalization.SortVersion

The first instance to compare.

right
Type: System.Globalization.SortVersion

The second instance to compare.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the values of left and right are not equal; otherwise, false.

Two SortVersion objects are not equal if one is null and the other is not, or if they have different FullVersion or SortId property values.

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
