Double.MinValue Field

Represents the smallest possible value of a Double. This field is constant.

Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)

public const double MinValue
public static final double MinValue
public const var MinValue : double

The value of this constant is negative 1.79769313486232e308.

The following code example illustrates the use of MinValue:

public class Temperature {
    public static double MinValue {
        get {
            return Double.MinValue;
        }
    }

    public static double MaxValue {
        get {
            return Double.MaxValue;
        }
    }

    // The value holder
    protected double m_value;

    public double Value {
        get {
            return m_value;
        }
        set {

        }
    }

        }
