ActiveDirectorySchema.GetSchema Method

Retrieves the schema object for the specified context.

Parameters

context
Type: System.DirectoryServices.ActiveDirectory.DirectoryContext

A DirectoryContext object that contains the target and credentials to use to retrieve the object. The target of the context must be a forest, directory server, or configuration set.

Return Value

Type: System.DirectoryServices.ActiveDirectory.ActiveDirectorySchema
A ActiveDirectorySchema object that represents the schema for the specified context.

ExceptionCondition
ActiveDirectoryObjectNotFoundException

A connection to the target specified in context cannot be made.

ArgumentNullException

context is null.

ArgumentException

context is invalid.
