ActiveDirectorySchema.FindProperty Method

Retrieves the property with the specified name.

public ActiveDirectorySchemaProperty FindProperty(
	string ldapDisplayName
)

Parameters

ldapDisplayName
Type: System.String

The LDAP display name of the property to find.

Return Value

Type: System.DirectoryServices.ActiveDirectory.ActiveDirectorySchemaProperty
A ActiveDirectorySchemaProperty object that represents the property with the specified name.

ExceptionCondition
ActiveDirectoryObjectNotFoundException

A property with the specified name cannot be found.

ArgumentNullException

propertyName is null.

ArgumentException

propertyName is zero length.

ObjectDisposedException

The current object has been disposed.
