ActiveDirectorySchema.FindClass Method

Retrieves the class with the specified name.

public ActiveDirectorySchemaClass FindClass(
	string ldapDisplayName
)

Parameters

ldapDisplayName
Type: System.String

The LDAP display name of the class to find.

Return Value

Type: System.DirectoryServices.ActiveDirectory.ActiveDirectorySchemaClass
An ActiveDirectorySchemaClass object that represents the class with the specified name.

ExceptionCondition
ActiveDirectoryObjectNotFoundException

A class with the specified name cannot be found.

ArgumentNullException

ldapDisplayName is null.

ArgumentException

ldapDisplayName is zero length.

ObjectDisposedException

The current object has been disposed.
