ConfigurationElement.Unmerge Method

Modifies the ConfigurationElement object to remove all values that should not be saved.

	ConfigurationElement parentElement,
	ConfigurationSaveMode saveMode

Parameters

sourceElement
Type: System.Configuration.ConfigurationElement

A ConfigurationElement at the current level containing a merged view of the properties.

parentElement
Type: System.Configuration.ConfigurationElement

The parent ConfigurationElement, or null if this is the top level.

saveMode
Type: System.Configuration.ConfigurationSaveMode

A ConfigurationSaveMode that determines which property values to include.

This method is called before the ConfigurationElement object is saved by the Configuration object in order to remove all unneeded properties.
