ArrayList.BinarySearch Method

Uses a binary search algorithm to locate a specific element in the sorted ArrayList or a portion of it.

Name Description
ArrayList.BinarySearch (Object) Searches the entire sorted ArrayList for an element using the default comparer and returns the zero-based index of the element.
ArrayList.BinarySearch (Object, IComparer) Searches the entire sorted ArrayList for an element using the specified comparer and returns the zero-based index of the element.
ArrayList.BinarySearch (Int32, Int32, Object, IComparer) Searches a range of elements in the sorted ArrayList for an element using the specified comparer and returns the zero-based index of the element.

Supported by the .NET Compact Framework.
