ObservableCollection<T> Constructor (List<T>)

Initializes a new instance of the ObservableCollection<T> class that contains elements copied from the specified list.

Namespace:  System.Collections.ObjectModel
Assembly:  System (in System.dll)
public ObservableCollection(
	List<T> list
)

Parameters

list
Type: System.Collections.Generic.List<T>

The list from which the elements are copied.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

The list parameter cannot be null.

The elements are copied onto the ObservableCollection<T> in the same order they are read by the enumerator of the list.

Supported in: 4.5, 4, 3.5, 3.0

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
