BindingBase Class

Represents the base class for Binding, PriorityBinding, and MultiBinding. This class is abstract.

Namespace: System.Windows.Data
Assembly: PresentationFramework (in presentationframework.dll)
XML Namespace:  http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation

[MarkupExtensionReturnTypeAttribute(typeof(Object))]
[LocalizabilityAttribute(LocalizationCategory.None, Modifiability=Modifiability.Unmodifiable, Readability=Readability.Unreadable)]
public abstract class BindingBase : MarkupExtension
/** @attribute MarkupExtensionReturnTypeAttribute(System.Object) */
/** @attribute LocalizabilityAttribute(LocalizationCategory.None, Modifiability=Modifiability.Unmodifiable, Readability=Readability.Unreadable) */
public abstract class BindingBase extends MarkupExtension
MarkupExtensionReturnTypeAttribute(System.Object)
LocalizabilityAttribute(LocalizationCategory.None, Modifiability=Modifiability.Unmodifiable, Readability=Readability.Unreadable)
public abstract class BindingBase extends MarkupExtension
This class is abstract; see Inheritance Hierarchy for derived non-abstract classes usable in XAML.

Because the BindingBase.ProvideValue method is sealed, it is not practical to derive custom binding classes from BindingBase that will function correctly as a Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) markup extension.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
