PngBitmapDecoder Constructor (Uri, BitmapCreateOptions, BitmapCacheOption)

Initializes a new instance of PngBitmapDecoder from the specified Uri with the specified createOptions and cacheOption.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Media.Imaging
Assembly:  PresentationCore (in PresentationCore.dll)

public PngBitmapDecoder(
	Uri bitmapUri,
	BitmapCreateOptions createOptions,
	BitmapCacheOption cacheOption

Type: System.Uri

The Uri that identifies the bitmap to decode.

Type: System.Windows.Media.Imaging.BitmapCreateOptions

Initialization options for the bitmap image.

Type: System.Windows.Media.Imaging.BitmapCacheOption

The cache method to use for the bitmap image.

The bitmapUri value is null.

The bitmapUri is not a Portable Network Graphics (PNG) encoded image.

The following code example demonstrates how to create an instance of and use a PngBitmapDecoder from a Uri. The decoded image is used as the source of an Image control.

// Open a Uri and decode a PNG image
Uri myUri = new Uri("smiley.png", UriKind.RelativeOrAbsolute);
PngBitmapDecoder decoder2 = new PngBitmapDecoder(myUri, BitmapCreateOptions.PreservePixelFormat, BitmapCacheOption.Default);
BitmapSource bitmapSource2 = decoder2.Frames[0];

// Draw the Image
Image myImage2 = new Image();
myImage2.Source = bitmapSource2;
myImage2.Stretch = Stretch.None;
myImage2.Margin = new Thickness(20);
