ProcessInputEventArgs::PushInput Method (InputEventArgs, StagingAreaInputItem)

Puts the specified input event onto the top of the specified staging area stack.

Parameters

input
Type: System.Windows.Input::InputEventArgs

The input event to put on the staging area stack.

promote
Type: System.Windows.Input::StagingAreaInputItem

An existing staging area item to promote the state from.

Return Value

Type: System.Windows.Input::StagingAreaInputItem
The staging area input item that wraps the specified input.

input cannot be nullptr and it cannot already exist in the staging area.
