ModifierKeysConverter.ConvertTo Method (ITypeDescriptorContext, CultureInfo, Object, Type)

Attempts to convert a ModifierKeys to the specified type, using the specified context.

Parameters

context
Type: System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext

A format context that provides information about the environment from which this converter is being invoked.

culture
Type: System.Globalization.CultureInfo

Culture specific information.

value
Type: System.Object

The object to convert.

destinationType
Type: System.Type

The type to convert the object to.

Return Value

Type: System.Object
The converted object.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

destinationType is null.

InvalidEnumArgumentException

value does not map to a valid ModifierKeys.

NotSupportedException

value cannot be converted.

destinationType must be String.

The ModifierKeysConverter converts to and from a String using the "+" key as the delimiter. For example, the string Control+ALT would be converted into a ModifierKeys consisting of the Control and Alt keys.
