PackageProperties.Dispose Method ()

Releases all resources used by the PackageProperties instance.

Namespace: System.IO.Packaging
Assembly: WindowsBase (in windowsbase.dll)

public void Dispose ()
public final void Dispose ()
public final function Dispose ()
You cannot use methods in XAML.

Call Dispose when you are finished using the PackageProperties. The Dispose method leaves the PackageProperties in an unusable state. After calling Dispose, you must release all references to the PackageProperties so the garbage collector can reclaim the memory that the PackageProperties was occupying. For more information, see Cleaning Up Unmanaged Resources and Implementing a Dispose Method.

Always call Dispose before you release your last reference to the PackageProperties. Otherwise, the resources it is using will not be freed until the garbage collector calls the PackageProperties object's Finalize method.
