GridLengthConverter.ConvertTo Method (ITypeDescriptorContext, CultureInfo, Object, Type)

Attempts to convert an instance of GridLength to a specified type.

typeDescriptorContext

Describes the context information of a type.

cultureInfo

Cultural specific information that should be respected during conversion.

value

The instance of GridLength to convert.

destinationType

The type that this instance of GridLength is converted to.

Return Value

The object that is created from the converted instance of GridLength.

Exception typeCondition

ArgumentNullException

Occurs if value is not a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) and is not a Brush, or if the destinationType is not one of the valid types for conversion.

ArgumentException

Occurs if value is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

GridLengthConverter supports conversion to and from the following types: String, Decimal, Single, Double, Int16, Int32, Int64, UInt16, UInt32, UInt64.
