How to: Prepare Team Foundation for Migration
Before you start your migration, you should prepare Team Foundation for the migration.
Required Permissions
To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators security group on the computer. You must also be a member of the Team Foundation Administrators group on Team Foundation Server. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
To prepare Team Foundation for migration
Install Team Explorer on the computer on which want to run the VSS Converter. The Visual SourceSafe converter is part of client of Team Foundation that is called Team Explorer.
Contact a Team Foundation administrator to add you to the Team Foundation Administrators group on Team Foundation before you start migration. For more information, see How to: Add a User.
