Determines if the application has a splash screen defined, and if it does, displays it.
Assembly: Microsoft.VisualBasic (in Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll)
By default, this method calls OnCreateSplashScreen in a thread-safe way.
The method contains the code that displays the splash screen for at least the number of milliseconds specified by the MinimumSplashScreenDisplayTime property. To use this functionality, you must set the My.Application.MinimumSplashScreenDisplayTime property in a method that overrides the or OnCreateSplashScreen method, or add the splash screen to your application using the Project Designer. For more information, see MinimumSplashScreenDisplayTime.
This method is called by the OnInitialize method.
