Gets or sets the name of the category to which this property belongs.

Property Value

Type: System.String
Returns the name of the category to which this property belongs.

If the value of this field does not correspond to the Name property of a Category element that is defined in the containing Rule class, a default Category that has this name is auto-generated and added to the containing Rule class.

This field is optional and is culture-invariant. When this field is not specified, this property is added to an auto-generated category named General (localized). This field cannot be set to the empty string.
