Parameters

value
Type: System::String

The string to write to the stream. If value is nullptr, nothing is written.

Return Value

Type: System.Threading.Tasks::Task
A task that represents the asynchronous write operation.
ExceptionCondition
ObjectDisposedException

The stream writer is disposed.

InvalidOperationException

The stream writer is currently in use by a previous write operation.

NoteNote

The HostProtectionAttribute attribute applied to this type or member has the following Resources property value: ExternalThreading. The HostProtectionAttribute does not affect desktop applications (which are typically started by double-clicking an icon, typing a command, or entering a URL in a browser). For more information, see the HostProtectionAttribute class or SQL Server Programming and Host Protection Attributes.
