ISharePointProjectOutputReferenceCollection.Add Method (Guid, DeploymentType)

Adds an output reference to the project specified by projectId. The reference is added as a build dependency to the current project and included as a part of the SharePoint project item.

Parameters

  • projectId
    Type: System.Guid

    Each project in a Visual Studio solution has a unique ID. This parameter represents the ID of the project to be added as a reference. The project specified by projectId should be loaded in the solution for this method to work correctly.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.SharePoint.ISharePointProjectOutputReference
The reference that was added.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentException

Occurs if no project with the specified projectId is found.
