ParallelEnumerable.Average Method (ParallelQuery<Double>)

Computes in parallel the average of a sequence of values.

Parameters

source
Type: System.Linq.ParallelQuery<Double>
A sequence of values that are used to calculate an average.

Return Value

Type: System.Double
The average of the sequence of values.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type ParallelQuery<Double>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

source is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
