Select Item In Project Dialog Box

Allows you to pick files or folders from within a deployment project. It is similar to a File Open dialog box, but rather than representing the local file system it represents the file system on a target computer.

The files and folders shown in the Select Item in Project dialog box mirror the files and folders in the File System Editor. If a file is added in the Select Item in Project dialog box, it will also be added to the File System Editor.

To open the Select Item in Project dialog box, in the Custom Actions Editor, on the Action menu, click Add Custom Action.

Note

The dialog boxes and menu commands you see might differ from those described in Help depending on your active settings or edition. To change your settings, choose Import and Export Settings on the Tools menu. For more information, see Working with Settings.
