Initializes a new instance of the Shape class.

Parameters

• parent
  Type: Microsoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks.ShapeContainer

  The ShapeContainer to be the parent of the shape.

Remarks

The Shape class is the base class for all shapes used in Windows Forms applications. Because this class is not typically used to create an instance of the class, this constructor is typically not called directly but is instead called by a derived class.

This version of the Shape constructor sets the ShapeContainer in which the shape will be located.
