SyntaxCheck Class

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Provides methods to verify the machine name and path conform to a specific syntax. This class cannot be inherited.

The SyntaxCheck type exposes the following members.

Public methodStatic memberCheckMachineNameInfrastructure. Checks the syntax of the machine name to confirm that it does not contain "\".
Public methodStatic memberCheckPathInfrastructure. Checks the syntax of the path to see whether it starts with "\\".
Public methodStatic memberCheckRootedPathInfrastructure. Checks the syntax of the path to see if it starts with "\" or drive letter "C:".

The HostProtectionAttribute attribute applied to this type or member has the following Resources property value: SharedState. The HostProtectionAttribute does not affect desktop applications (which are typically started by double-clicking an icon, typing a command, or entering a URL in a browser).
