AppDomain.Load Method (String)

Loads an Assembly given its display name.

Parameters

assemblyString

The display name of the assembly. See Assembly.FullName.

Return Value

The loaded assembly.

Exception typeCondition

ArgumentNullException

assemblyString is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic)

FileNotFoundException

assemblyString is not found.

BadImageFormatException

assemblyString is not a valid assembly.

AppDomainUnloadedException

Operations are attempted on an unloaded application domain.

FileLoadException

An assembly or module was loaded twice with two different evidences.
