TextWriter.Write Method (Char[], Int32, Int32)

Writes a subarray of characters to the text string or stream.

Parameters

buffer
Type: System.Char[]

The character array to write data from.

index
Type: System.Int32

The character position in the buffer at which to start retrieving data.

count
Type: System.Int32

The number of characters to write.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentException

The buffer length minus index is less than count.

ArgumentNullException

The buffer parameter is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

index or count is negative.

ObjectDisposedException

The TextWriter is closed.

IOException

An I/O error occurs.

This method will write count characters of data into this TextWriter from the buffer character array starting at position index.

This overload is equivalent to the Write(Char[]) overload for each character in buffer between index and (index + count).
