Instruction for WCF Web Service hosted in IIS (How to: Host a WCF Service in IIS)
Like many people, I wasn't able to follow instructions provided on this page. MS should test their documentation before publishing world wide and putting their name on it. Anyways, found much clearer steps athttp://technologyriver.blogspot.com/2012/02/prerequisites-check-windows-7.htmlCheers

WCF Web Service can be hosted in IIS (Deploying an Internet Information Services-Hosted WCF Service)
I spent too much time looking through proper instructions on internet on this simple task: create and host WCF Service in IIS and then consume it. Finally I found what worked for me:http://technologyriver.blogspot.com/2012/02/prerequisites-check-windows-7.htmlHopefully that will work for other people too.I would hope MS would update their instructions to make them more followable and clear.

FYI, the Web Service Task is stuck with a timeout of 100 seconds in SQL SSIS 2005 RTM, SP1, and SP2. Even when you set the HTTP Connection Manager's timeout higher or lower, it does not take effect on the Web Service Task. There is a fix available in Cumulative Update 10 hotfix for SQL 2005 SP2, which will let you set the HTTP Connection Manager timeout higher than 100 seconds, and ha
