There is a new checkbox in Silverlight 5 (5.0.61118.0) property page called "Enable hardware-accelerated playpack" which is checked by default. It is in charge for the h.264 playback hardware acceleration. My investigations show that this checkbox is NOT enough to enable the h.264 hardware-accelerated decoding. For the feature to work you need to put the <B>EnableGPUAcceleration</B> pa

How I could solve the problem with missing SyndicationFeed (SyndicationFeed Class (System.ServiceModel.Syndication))
The solution I found out through another demo is to go in the "normal" project (i.e. w/o the ".Web" extension, like "TwitterSearchProject") onto the "References" folder in the MVS2010 (alias "Verweise" in the German version), click there the right mouse button and select "Add references..." ("Verweis hinzufügen..."). The list is populated also with elements having the version 2.0.5.0. There, the S

I cannot make OpacityMask using code in Silverlight 3. I tried the following simple example and it does not show any error nor displays the mask at all. It is like being ignored. The following code ignores the: rect1.OpacityMask = irgb; to apply the opacity mask at runtime. public MainPage() { InitializeComponent(); Rectangle rect1 = new Rectangle(); rect1.W

ClientBin\source (How to: Use Deep Zoom in Silverlight)
I tried this example on VS2010Beta2/.NET3.5/Silverlight 3.0. I found that, to get it to work, I had to create the source folder under the ClientBin folder in the Web app that gets created alongside the Silverlight App and then copy the items mentioned above into THAT folder.

Needs info on Silverlight .targets files (MSBuild .Targets Files)
I agree with what Daniel Portal said, and would like to see info that will help me understand the differences between the Silverlight 2.0 vs. 3.0 .targets files.
