Renaming the database is easy... (Administering a Report Server Database)
Rename the databases. Script out all of the stored procedures in the main database with "DROP And CREATE" to a single query editor window. Do a search and replace for the TempDB database, renaming it to its new name. Execute the script. Restart reporting services, and any applications that may have been using them (i.e. IE and VS).

This command also accepts wildcards (Rename Command (Team Foundation Version Control))
This command was formerly called 'move' and still exists though it is not displayed in the help or using 'tf.exe /?' Both also accept wildcards such as '*' tf.exe move $/Project/sub1/*.cs $/ProjectA/sub2 OR tf.exe rename $/Project/sub1/*.cs $/ProjectA/sub2/*.cs I haven't tried moving files across projects (i.e. from $/ProjectA to $/ProjectB) but I'm pretty sure that this would work.

How to move *only* Data-Tier server in the same domain? (How to: Move Your Team Foundation Server from One Hardware Configuration to Another)
All I need to do is move my data-tier server to a new hardware platform (same domain) to take advantage of its additional storage. The application-tier server would remain the same. This *should* be a very simple procedure, presumably only re-pointing things to the new DT server, but I have yet to find a detailed set of procedures for doing (only) that.I was hoping this article would address thi
