XPath and XML namespaces (Binding.XPath Property (System.Windows.Data))
When you need XPath queries using namespaces you can use XmlDataProvider and set its XmlNamespaceManager property as described in article How to: Use XML Namespaces in Data Binding. However this approach has some limitations, such as that XmlDataProvider can be used only with entire document, not a nodeset obtained via another XPath query. In such situations it's better to use Binding.XmlNamespac

Partial Class Namespace for ScaffoldTableAttribute (ASP.NET Dynamic Data Scaffolding and Page Templates Overview)
I struggled with getting the ScaffoldTableAttribute working until I got the namespace correct for the partial class. In my situation, I was using the Entity Framework. Here's what I had to do to get it working. Assuming we're using the Adventureworks database as above, Studio will create a .edmx file which holds the entity data model created from the database. The partial class that you create must

I've had a slightly different experience to the above. We used multiple /n: switches to try to map different xml namespaces to discreet C# namespaces. The types generated from definitions in WSDL ended up in the correct namespaces. The types defined in XSD files did not end up in the correct places. Multiple /n: switches need to be seperate, like:svcutil /n:urn:xml:service.Foo,Services.Foo /n:urn:

namespace parameter does not effect types generated from xsds (Generating a WCF Client from Service Metadata)
We are running in to what seems to be a limitation of svcutil. We have several services defined by wsdl, and their schemas have elements defined in <schema> tags in separate xsd files. Although the <schema> tags have a targetNamespace="" attribute, the switches to svcutil do not seem to "see" these target namespaces. C# types for xml types defined in the xsd files are generated in the
