Code shouldn't disappear (Partial Classes and Methods (C# Programming Guide))
Cant agree with source code disappearing as part of compilation activity: As it is a compilation issue there are 2 options:1)throw compilation error so that the coder is aware of what's happening2)and if possible, have a new method_implemented keyword to enable coding like this: if method_implemented(obj.FnFOO(type1, type2) { obj.FnFOO(arg1, arg2);}

Edit method caching (Caching display Methods [AX 2012])
FormDataSource.cacheAddMethod supports edit methods too (see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/formdatasource.cacheaddmethod.aspx).

SysClientCacheDataMethodAttribute (Caching display Methods [AX 2012])
AX2012 also allows to use SysClientCacheDataMethodAttribute attribute in the display method declaration. Then, forms should cache such methods automatically.Attribute's constructor accept one optional parameter (_updateOnWrite), which corresponds to the second parameter of cacheAddMethod().Example:[SysClientCacheDataMethodAttribute(true)]display DirPartyType type(){...}

write method problem (write method (Windows))
although it accept SafeArray parameter, but in fact, it can only take BSTR as element, so, you always write unicode string to the document. therefor you lost original charset when you call charset method.

Another way to use InvokeRequired and Invoke on Windows Forms with multithreading (Control.InvokeRequired Property (System.Windows.Forms))
I do a lot of .Net Compact Framework programming, which doesn't have a MethodInvoker() method. Usually I have only a few methods that must work with multithreading, so I take a slightly simpler approach to the ideas mentioned above.When I have a method that must work across threads, which is the case when asynchronous callbacks are used, I modify the method in question to invoke itself using a del

This method generate stack overflow exception (SPCalendarItem.Equality Operator (Microsoft.SharePoint.WebControls))
if you try write bit of code which using compare operators, something like this:SPCalendarItem calendarItem = new SPCalendarItem();SPCalendarItem calendarItem1 = new SPCalendarItem();if (calendarItem != calendarItem1)Console.Out.WriteLine("All right");you catch stack overflow exception. Equality operator (and other compare operators) make recursive call itself. I test that on WSS 3.0 SP2.

SPCalendarItem.op_Equality Method (Microsoft.SharePoint.WebControls) Determines whether two calendar objects are equal. To be complete, when new() is expressed on the method such as:public List<IFolder> ExtractFolderInformation<T>() where T : IFolder, new(){ T folder = new T(); // This is the missing example where a T object is new'ed. List<IFolder> retList = new List<IFolder>(); retLists.Add( folder); return retList; }
