SysClientCacheDataMethodAttribute (Caching display Methods [AX 2012])
AX2012 also allows to use SysClientCacheDataMethodAttribute attribute in the display method declaration. Then, forms should cache such methods automatically.Attribute's constructor accept one optional parameter (_updateOnWrite), which corresponds to the second parameter of cacheAddMethod().Example:[SysClientCacheDataMethodAttribute(true)]display DirPartyType type(){...}

Display names and parse names (Introduction to the Shell Namespace (Windows))
Because display names are usually localized, Shell folders may need a more stable name to convert between a PIDL and a full path. Thus, an Item ID has both a display name and a parse name. Progress dialog box (Folder.CopyHere method (Windows))
If we specify number 4 for the second parameter, it should not display a progress dialog box. But I've tested (in Windows 7 x64) and doesn't work.Maybe only doesn't work when copy to a zip file, but I want using it just to zip without a dialog.

The cell containing symbol has a height spanning all rows for that symbol. How do I make the Symbol appear on each row ?

How to get the pDeviceName for CLASS_MONITOR (EnumColorProfiles function (Windows))
I found this VERY useful information in AssociateColorProfileWithDevice's Community Content : - pDeviceName MUST be the "DeviceID" (not DeviceName or DeviceString) of the monitor, not the graphics adapter. To get this, first call EnumDisplayDevices for an adapter's DeviceName and then again for the monitor name. The returned DISPLAY_DEVICE data structure then provides the required DeviceID.ANNOTAT

HR is display:inline (display property (Internet Explorer))
HR.currentStyle.display returns "inline" by default (as of IE7), contrary to this description and violating the HTML 4 specification. Note that HR renders on a line by itself, breaking surrounding text.
