Attention (took me an hour to find the reason ;)) - when you supply a filename in lpszOutput, and the printer is paused, StartDoc() blocks and never returns until you restart the spooler or resume the printer.Might be "by design", but might take a while to find.

Does not work on CE (How to: Set a Thread Name in Native Code)
This does not work for me on WinCE 6.0 (do not know about any other WinCE versions) and VS2008. The exception is regarded as normal (ie the debugger stops on it if enabled). The same code works when build for Win32.

Immediate Window in VS 2008 (Immediate Window)
Dear all,the Immediate Windows is indeed (as mentioned in the other Messages here) a powerful and often used Tool.Since I use Visual Studio a long time, I remember precisly that in VS 6 the Immediate Panewas used in a very similar way. But in VS 2008 ( Express Edition ) I cannot find how to CLEARthe contents of this Window. ( neither in Design Mode nor in Debug Mode !)Is there a Trick? Do I miss s

Debug this method with VS2008 in XP and Vista (WaitHandle.WaitOne Method (Int32, Boolean) (System.Threading))
When I debug this method with VS2008 in XP and Vista (both 32 bit & 64 bit) , it behaves differently, can anybody tell me why?For Vista I had to write additionally System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(10000);

Some good, free (Fiddler Web Debugger: http://www.fiddlertool.org) and commercial (HTTP Debugger Pro ($50): http://www.httpdebugger.com) tools are available on the market that allow to debug Web Services. Try both of them and you will save many hours of work.
