transparent background on dynamic menus (How to: Customize the Display of Quick Launch)
I found that if you follow this article, it results in flyout menus with transparent backgrounds. The CSS tag in the coreV4.css file that controls this is:.menu ul.dynamic ..I was able to successfully add the background using the IE dev tools, so I assume you would have to create a CSS file and specify it in the CssClass tag of the menu control to overcome this issue. You can also use the new after

More about text-kashida and text-kashida-space... (text-kashida-space property (Internet Explorer))
First, text-kashida and text-kashida-space are only supported in Quirks and IE7 (Standards) document modes. IE8 mode does nothing. Secondly, in order for these attributes to have any affect, you must also use text-align:justify. (The text-justify:kashida attribute is not required.) Kashida justification increases the length of a line by elongating cursive (Arabic) characters at certain point

Links on menus (Using CSS and Styles with the Menu Control)
I faced some problems when applying a CSS style to a Menu. The thing is that the menu seems to parse the menu items into links and then applies them the style you have defined for the A elements. To fix this I made my own styles for the A element inside the Menu style and just referenced the proper style into the Menu Control propoerty CssStyle, it looks something like: <asp:Menu ID="MenuPr
