For files that don't need a password, the InterOp assembly apparently ignores the password you pass in.To suppress the password dialog on files that are password protected (and skip working with those files); pass in a garbage password and catch the exception that is thrown when the password doesn't match.

Hi all,Found that even if the DisplayAlert is set to wdAlertsNone, dialog is still prompted to user when we open a password protected MS Word. Is it a bug? Thanks and regards,William
