XmlTextWriter.WriteBinHex Method

Encodes the specified binary bytes as binhex and writes out the resulting text.

Namespace:  System.Xml
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)
public override void WriteBinHex(
	byte[] buffer,
	int index,
	int count
)

Parameters

buffer
Type: System.Byte[]
Byte array to encode.
index
Type: System.Int32
The position in the buffer indicating the start of the bytes to write.
count
Type: System.Int32
The number of bytes to write.
Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

buffer is null.

ArgumentException

The buffer length minus index is less than count.

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

index or count is less than zero.

InvalidOperationException

The WriteState is Closed.

In the .NET Framework version 2.0 release, the recommended practice is to create XmlWriter instances using the XmlWriter.Create method and the XmlWriterSettings class. This allows you to take full advantage of all the new features introduced in this release. For more information, see Creating XML Writers.
