XmlNodeReader.CanReadBinaryContent Property

Gets a value indicating whether the XmlNodeReader implements the binary content read methods.

public override bool CanReadBinaryContent { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the binary content read methods are implemented; otherwise false. The XmlNodeReader class always returns true.
NoteNote:

In the .NET Framework version 2.0, the recommended practice is to create XmlReader instances using the XmlReaderSettings class and the Create method. This allows you to take full advantage of all the new features introduced in the .NET Framework. For more information, see Creating XML Readers.

The binary content read methods include the ReadContentAsBase64, ReadContentAsBinHex, ReadElementContentAsBase64, and ReadElementContentAsBinHex methods.
