XmlNode.WriteTo Method
.NET Framework 2.0
When overridden in a derived class, saves the current node to the specified XmlWriter.
Namespace: System.Xml
Assembly: System.Xml (in system.xml.dll)
Assembly: System.Xml (in system.xml.dll)
This method is a Microsoft extension to the Document Object Model (DOM). It is functionally equivalent to the OuterXml property.
The following example displays the root node to the console.
using System; using System.IO; using System.Xml; public class Sample { public static void Main() { XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument(); doc.LoadXml("<book xmlns:bk='urn:samples' bk:ISBN='1-861001-57-5'>" + "<title>Pride And Prejudice</title>" + "</book>"); XmlNode root = doc.FirstChild; Console.WriteLine("Display the root node..."); XmlTextWriter writer = new XmlTextWriter(Console.Out); writer.Formatting = Formatting.Indented; root.WriteTo(writer); } }
import System.*;
import System.IO.*;
import System.Xml.*;
public class Sample
{
public static void main(String[] args)
{
XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument();
doc.LoadXml("<book xmlns:bk='urn:samples' bk:ISBN='1-861001-57-5'>"
+ "<title>Pride And Prejudice</title>"
+ "</book>");
XmlNode root = doc.get_FirstChild();
Console.WriteLine("Display the root node...");
XmlTextWriter writer = new XmlTextWriter(Console.get_Out());
writer.set_Formatting(Formatting.Indented);
root.WriteTo(writer);
} //main
