XmlDocument.Name Property

Gets the qualified name of the node.

Namespace:  System.Xml
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)
public override string Name { get; }

Property Value

Type: System.String
For XmlDocument nodes, the name is #document.

The name returned depends on the NodeType of the node. To see a table describing the name returned for each of the node types, see the Name property in the XmlNode class.

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows XP SP2 x64 Edition, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
