XmlDocument.CreateDefaultAttribute Method

Creates a default attribute with the specified prefix, local name and namespace URI.

Assembly: System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)

	string prefix,
	string localName,
	string namespaceURI
)

Parameters

prefix: Type: System.String
The prefix of the attribute (if any).

localName: Type: System.String
The local name of the attribute.

namespaceURI: Type: System.String
The namespace URI of the attribute (if any).

Return Value

Type: System.Xml.XmlAttribute
The new XmlAttribute.

Remarks

This method is a Microsoft extension to the Document Object Model (DOM).
