XmlDateTimeSerializationMode Enumeration

Specifies how to treat the time value when converting between string and DateTime.

Member nameDescription
Supported by the XNA FrameworkLocalTreat as local time. If the DateTime object represents a Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), it is converted to the local time.
Supported by the XNA FrameworkRoundtripKindTime zone information should be preserved when converting.
Supported by the XNA FrameworkUnspecifiedTreat as a local time if a DateTime is being converted to a string.

If a string is being converted to DateTime, convert to a local time if a time zone is specified.

Supported by the XNA FrameworkUtcTreat as a UTC. If the DateTime object represents a local time, it is converted to a UTC.

This enumeration is used by the ToDateTime and ToString methods.

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
