XmlSerializationReader.ReadTypedNull Method

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Reads an XML element that allows null values (xsi:nil = 'true') and returns a generic Nullable<T> value.

Parameters

type
Type: System.Xml.XmlQualifiedName
The XmlQualifiedName that represents the simple data type for the current location of the XmlReader.

Return Value

Type: System.Object
A generic Nullable<T> that represents a null XML value.

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows XP SP2 x64 Edition, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
