XmlSchemaElement.Form Property

Gets or sets the form for the element.

Namespace:  System.Xml.Schema
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)
public XmlSchemaForm Form { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Xml.Schema.XmlSchemaForm
The form for the element. The default is the XmlSchema.ElementFormDefault value.
Optional.

The default value is the value of the elementFormDefault attribute for the schema element containing the element. The default is Unqualified.

Enum

Description

Qualified

Element must be qualified with the namespace prefix.

Unqualified

Element is not required to be qualified with the namespace prefix.

The value cannot be set if the containing element is the schema element.

Supported in: 4.5.1, 4.5, 4, 3.5, 3.0, 2.0, 1.1, 1.0

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1
